1. When Can You Return?

We accept returns and refunds only under these conditions:

You received a wrong book (different title/edition than ordered)
Book arrived damaged (torn pages, broken binding, water damage) due to transit
You received a defective product (missing pages, printing errors, incomplete text)
Book is significantly different from the product description on our website

2. Non-Returnable Items

Books that have been read, highlighted, or annotated
Items returned without original packaging or after 7 days from delivery
Books ordered in error by the customer (wrong title selected)
Digital products / e-books once downloaded or accessed
Items bought during special sale or clearance events (unless damaged/defective)

3. How to Initiate a Return

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at allahabadlawagency@gmail.com with your Order ID, reason for return, and photographs of the damaged/wrong item. Our team reviews within 2-3 business days and issues a Return Authorisation (RA) number if approved.

4. Return Shipping

If return is due to our error, we bear the return shipping cost
For all other returns, customer is responsible for return shipping charges
Use a trackable courier service — we are not responsible for items lost during return transit

5. Refund Process

Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method
COD orders: Refunds via NEFT/UPI (bank details required)
Shipping charges are non-refundable (except in cases of our error)

6. Free Replacement

For damaged or wrong items, we offer a free replacement instead of refund. Replacements dispatched within 3-5 business days after return is received and verified.

7. Order Cancellation

Cancel within 24 hours of placing your order (before dispatch) — email allahabadlawagency@gmail.com with your Order ID
Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled
Cancellation refunds processed within 5-7 business days

8. Important Notes

Returns subject to inspection before refund/replacement is issued
We are not responsible for books purchased from unauthorised sellers — such purchases are NOT covered under this policy
